Box of Books is a bluegrass band from Philadelphia, PA. Box of Books combines modern songwriting with an old fashioned sound. Chock-full of literary references, wistful ballads, and a dash of self-deprecating humor, Box of Books' debut album, Expectations, was released in 2018. Appearing as a duo, trio, or as a full-band, the group plays original music as well as cover sets at venues throughout the Philadelphia area.
